The Eternal Testimony Project, conducted by the “Eternal Testimony” team at Sogang University since 2020 with support from the Research Institute on Japanese Military Sexual Slavery, is an immersive interactive exhibition based on conversational AI technology. Titled “Eternal Testimony,” the exhibition allows visitors to interact vocally with videos of the “Comfort Women” survivors displayed on a screen, presenting a new method of mediating the testimonies of “Comfort Women” and society. Beta exhibitions were held in Seoul and Daegu in November 2020 and from June to November 2021. The following year, in 2022, the Humanities Korea (HK⁺) Research Center for Reconciliation and Coexistence in the Contact Zones of Chung-Ang University hosted a public exhibition titled “Encountering Testimonies.”
