SEMA, which means “speak out” in Swahili, is the Global Network of Victims and Survivors to End Wartime Sexual Violence. It gathers survivors from 26 countries whio aim to raise awareness about the realities and consequences of wartime sexual violence, combat stigma, impunity, and fight for justice. SEMA members advocate for their rights on the global stage and demand justice and accountability.
